Radio Lab - Wagner - The Ring and I
After reading Nietzsche go on and on about Wagner. and pulling up the various Wagner pieces that he mentions, listening to them, and frankly not seeing what all the fuss was about, I remembered hearing this Radio Lab episode about Wagner and thought I'd revisit it with new information and background.
It's quite interesting, but mostly it sheds a little light on Nietzsche's strong feelings about Wagner. Having the extra explanation into what Wagner was attempting to do and who he was as a revolutionary, helped me understand our Nietzsche readings better.
