Spring, Antonio Vivaldi

I chose Antonio Vivaldi's Spring because, as was discussed in lecture, it very well exemplifies the contrast in Schopenhauer's and Plato's philosophies on art and music. While Schopenhauer would call this music an imitation and away from the Will or the truth, Plato would find value in the fact that art is supposed to imitate emotions and the phenomenal world and that music and art are purely representational. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4kTei0XrCs
