Kevin Olusola's Amazing Solo Cello Beatbox Combo VIDEO

The principle was that each individual can only do one thing well. He can't do lots of things. If he tries, he will be jack of all trades, and master of none.
Yes, it does apply. Why shouldn't it?

Does it apply to imitation as well? Is the same person incapable of imitating many things as well as he can imitate one?

Of course.

So he's unlikely to both follow one of the worthwhile occupations and also be a versatile imitator, and given to imitation.

Kevin Olusola would be both loved and hated by our beloved authors. He has been a genius on the cello since early age and maintains a deep respect for instrumental and classical music, but is also endowed with impossible beatboxing skills, performing rhythms many would say only a computer can generate. He also has an incredible range and serves as bass or tenor in the group he performs with (Pentatonix). He imitates an endless variety of sounds meant to make the originals and covers he performs as interesting as he wants them to be.
In this video he combines two of many things that I argue he masters unlike many others I have seen and heard.
